My stay at this hotel was quite the adventure, as its quirky charm often bordered on comical. On the bright side, the location is superb, just a short walk to the beach, and the prices weren't too steep for the area. However, I was really put off by the immense resort fees that felt excessive, especially given the lack of quality amenities. The room was downright tiny, and while the view was nice, it felt like I was cramped into a space that was barely suitable for one.

Rooms

The room was extremely small and quite dated, measuring barely 117 sq ft. I struggled with the outdated decor and cleanliness, especially with the mold on the bathroom curtain.
Service

While the service had its moments, I was not impressed with the staff’s overall attitude, which left something to be desired.

The location was great, within walking distance to the beach which made it an ideal spot for vacationers.
Dining

The breakfast options were basic at best, and while they catered mostly to Asian tastes, they didn’t meet my expectations.
Facilities

The facilities were lacking, with the gym area being particularly amusing in its state of disrepair. But the outdoor spaces did provide a nice place to relax.

The Aqua Aloha Surf Waikiki is in a great location, just a short walk from the beach and local shops. While the staff were very accommodating and helpful, the rooms left a lot to be desired; they were outdated and quite small. The breakfast options were not great, lacking in variety. Overall, it has potential but needs significant improvement in both room quality and dining experience to be truly enjoyable.

I had a fantastic stay at Aqua Aloha Surf! The hotel is perfectly located just a short walk from the beach, making it super convenient for me. My room was clean and tidy, though it could benefit from a bit of modernization. The staff were incredibly helpful and warm, but the breakfast options leaned heavily towards Asian cuisine, which didn't quite match my taste. The amenities, especially the pool area, were nice and inviting. Overall, it's a great budget option for anyone looking to enjoy Waikiki.

I had a decent stay overall at this hotel. The staff was attentive and accommodating, but I faced a few issues with the room size and some amenities. The location is decent, close to various spots. It’s great for those looking for budget-friendly options, but I wish the room conditions were better.

Facilities were adequate, with some interesting options like a PS2 for movie rentals and games, but overall they felt a bit dated.

My stay at the Aqua Aloha Surf Hotel was a mixed bag. While the location is excellent and convenient for exploring Waikiki, I had some frustrations with deceptive pricing and inadequate room conditions. The staff were helpful during my stay, and I appreciated the cleanliness of the common areas. However, unexpected fees cast a shadow over what could have been a better experience.
